HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, meets his Indian counterpart to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and economic cooperation.

HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, hosted a working dinner in Abu Dhabi for Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, congratulating him on his reappointment as Indian Foreign Minister.

They explored joint efforts aimed at strengthening cooperation in the sectors of economy, trade, investment, education, culture, health, food security, renewable energy and climate change. Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the strength of the UAE-India strategic partnership, aiming for comprehensive development and sustainable prosperity.

Highlighting the elevation of bilateral relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2017, Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the deep collaboration underpinned by mutual trust, respect and shared interests.

The UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), launched in 2022, has been highlighted for significantly strengthening economic and trade ties to support national development goals.

They also discussed collaboration within international organizations and exchanged views on regional and global developments, including the situation in the Middle East.
