Residents were evacuated from a building in Sharjah on Sunday afternoon following a fire in the building.
According to reports, the fire broke out around 1 p.m. on the fifth floor and later spread to the upper floors.
The tower is located in the Al Majaz 2 district, near Jamal Abdul Naser Street.
Sharjah Civil Defense emergency response teams, along with police and ambulance services, quickly responded to the scene.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause.
