Dubai and Abu Dhabi have been ranked the top cities for nomads, according to the most recent Savills Executive Nomad Index report.
Dubai has retained its lead position for the second year, while Abu Dhabi secured the second spot after jumping two places.
“Dubai and Abu Dhabi are incredibly appealing to executive nomads because they offer everything you need to thrive both personally and professionally,” said Andrew Cummings, Head of Residential Agency – Middle East at Savills.
The Savills Executive Nomad index, a London Stock Exchange-listed real estate services provider, ranks 25 destinations for long-term remote workers.
Other destinations, ranked in the top 10, include Malaga in Spain, Miami in the U.S., and Lisbon in Portugal. The locations have attracted remote workers amid their prime beachside access.
Executive nomads are typically older than young backpackers, many of which travel with their families. This places a great importance in the quality of life in their chosen destinations, including healthcare, education, and safety.
