President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the need for immediate action to establish a ceasefire in Gaza, during a call with the President of the Council of the European Union, Charles Michel.
The two men discussed the importance of saving lives and bringing peace and security to the region.
Michel also recognized the UAE’s humanitarian role in providing aid to the Palestinian people and affirmed the EU’s commitment to continue working with the UAE to further strengthen humanitarian efforts.
They also explored ways to strengthen cooperation to serve the interests of the UAE and the EU, building on already strong relations and their mutual commitment to further develop these ties.
