An Ajman man was praised by police for handing over AED 149,000 he found at an ATM, earning him a certificate of appreciation from authorities.
Abdul Fattah Mahmoud Abdul Fattah handed over the money to the Ajman police so that it could be returned to its rightful owner.
The head of the Medina Comprehensive Police Center, Colonel Ghaith Khalifa Al-Kabi expressed his gratitude and praised the man’s honesty before presenting him with the certificate.
In an Instagram post, Ajman Police said it “strives to achieve the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Interior, which are to promote security and build public confidence in the effectiveness services provided”.
