His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, congratulated more than 18 million students for their participation in the Arabic Reading Challenge.
Speaking to social media platform X, Sheikh Mohammed said: “Today, beloved Egypt celebrated its participation in the world’s largest reading project. More than 18 million students from over 31,000 schools participated in the Arabic Reading Challenge. Egyptian students and our greetings to Egyptian culture.

Egyptian students, from more than 31,000 schools, took part in this initiative as part of a broader movement to encourage the younger generation to read Arabic literature.
The challenge was launched under the umbrella of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives.
