Dubai has launched a major initiative to train teachers in the uses of Artificial Intelligence and its applications.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, said the program aims to equip teachers with the knowledge and vision to produce learners who can make the most of technological progress.
The top 10 teachers who effectively integrate AI into their teaching practices will be rewarded with prizes totaling AED 1 million at the next edition of the AI Retreat on April 29, 2025.
The program will provide teachers in Dubai with best-in-class training in using advanced applications and integrating AI tools to automate tasks and personalize learning experiences.
It will combine practical and online training and include regular assessments to ensure the best results and achieve desired long-term goals.
The initiative, overseen by the Dubai Center for Artificial Intelligence in collaboration with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), aligns with the goals of the Dubai Universal Plan for Artificial Intelligence.
“We aspire to make Dubai schools the best educational institutions in the world to leverage AI solutions. Teachers are the backbone of our nation’s progress and development and are key players in achieving Dubai’s vision for the future,” Sheikh Hamdan said.
In line with Dubai’s annual plan to accelerate the adoption of AI applications, today we are announcing the launch of a program to upskill all teachers in Dubai in artificial intelligence. The 10 best teachers who effectively integrate AI into their teaching practices will be rewarded…
