There will be free parking in Sharjah for the duration of Eid Al Adha, Sharjah Municipality has announced.
The municipality has announced free parking for three days for Eid Al Adha, but the exemption does not apply to seven-day paid parking zones.
The announcement follows that of Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) which confirmed on Saturday that no fees, except for multi-storey parking, would be charged for parking until the end of Tuesday .
The RTA also confirmed that the Dubai Metro Red and Green lines will operate from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Friday June 14 and Saturday June 15, and on Sunday June 16 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
