A restaurant in Abu Dhabi’s Mafraq industrial city has been closed for repeated violations of food safety rules.
The ‘Khushab Darbar’ restaurant was arrested for violations related to food handling and storage, as well as poor hygiene.
The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) said the store also neglected the cleanliness of refrigerators, kitchen equipment, floors and ceilings.
It will only be allowed to reopen after correcting these issues.
The authority urged the public to contact the hotline 800555 to report complaints and concerns related to food safety.
