Neurosurgeons and dental specialists are among the new additions to the medical staff at the UAE’s floating hospital in Egypt.
The facility, located in Al Arish, was established as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, to provide first-class healthcare to the Palestinian people in Gaza.
The hospital performs complex surgeries and treatments on patients and provides prosthetics to those who need them, in addition to physical therapy and psychological rehabilitation.
Dr. Ahmed Mubarak, director of the hospital, stressed that the facility continues to improve its resources and highlighted a recent procedure requiring specialists to perform surgery on a patient’s broken leg and severed nerve.
