His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, inaugurated the first phase of the North Bani Yas housing project, which includes 1,365 new villas for nationals of United Arab Emirates, worth AED 3.1. billion.

Covering an area of ​​3.1 square kilometers, the project falls under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

His Highness also named the larger project as Al Mizn district. Spanning 9.06 square kilometers, the entire development will feature 3,453 new villas, featuring modern designs infused with Emirati heritage. The total investment value of the project is AED9.3 billion.

Ranging from five to six bedrooms, the villas occupy areas between 425 and 602 square meters per unit, located on plots of 1,080 square meters each.

The inaugural phase features 12 architectural facades, comprising 820 villas reflecting traditional aesthetics and 545 villas with contemporary designs. It also has 17 parks and recreational areas, a school, five shopping complexes, 15.5 kilometers of bicycle paths and 89.48 kilometers of pedestrian paths.

His Highness emphasized that the Al Mizn district The project, along with other housing initiatives in Abu Dhabi, reflects the government’s commitment to building integrated communities that provide essential amenities to meet the needs of Emirati families and further improve their well-being.

Since its establishment in 2012, ADHA has contributed to the development of government housing for UAE nationals in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.

By overseeing the allocation of over 40,000 residential plots, the authority has ensured the completion of over 16,000 houses, as well as the approval of over 49,000 housing loans. In addition, more than 4,000 citizens benefited from housing loan waivers, amounting to more than AED 149 billion.
