President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended the tenth session of the Arab-China Cooperation Forum in Beijing on Thursday, emphasizing the need for Arab-China cooperation, alongside international efforts, to achieve a ceasefire -immediate fire in Gaza.
During his opening speech, the President also reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to working with its Arab neighbors to support and strengthen Arab-China cooperation in a way that meets the aspirations of all parties.
His Highness stressed that the meeting comes at a time when the world must unite and show solidarity, amid escalating tensions in the Middle East due to the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip, which is leading to disastrous humanitarian conditions for its inhabitants.
This situation, he said, highlights the importance of Arab-Chinese cooperation alongside international efforts to achieve an immediate ceasefire, ensure the protection of Gaza residents and ensure the flow of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
His Highness also highlighted the urgent need to seek a just and comprehensive peace in the region, based on the two-state solution.
Sheikh Mohamed also stressed that the meeting represented the distinguished relations between China and Arab countries and their mutual commitment to elevate Arab-Chinese cooperation to greater heights.
He expressed confidence that the Forum will enable continued cooperation between Arab countries and China.

In his speech, the UAE President expressed his gratitude to President Xi for hosting and chairing the meeting, while expressing confidence that China will continue to experience development and growth and will strive to strengthen Arab-Chinese cooperation and joint efforts in the near future.
