His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and President of the Presidential Court, chaired the meeting of the Ministerial Development Council at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.

The agenda of the meeting included discussions on various projects and proposals from federal ministries and entities, with emphasis on improving partnership opportunities with the private sector and initiatives to strengthen the operational efficiency within the federal government.

In addition, proposals to improve services provided by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program and policies to increase the efficiency of the country’s financial markets were discussed.

In the area of ​​government affairs, the Council discussed several proposed federal laws in the sectors of culture, financial regulation, competition, economy and tourism. It also examined the recommendations and requests of the Federal National Council regarding various government matters.

The Council was briefed on the results of the UAE’s participation in several international conferences and events, progress in the implementation of government strategies and programs, and reports on the activities of various federal entities.
