The International Humanitarian Council has launched a series of short films highlighting the UAE’s humanitarian initiatives in Gaza.
The images show the UAE’s commitment to helping the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the initiatives put in place to help the most vulnerable groups such as women, children and the elderly.
The documentary series, which is expected to be broadcast on national channels and digital platforms, titled “In the Introduction”, highlights a group of individuals working and volunteering in relief and humanitarian initiatives, implemented by the agencies Emiratis in the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Gaza. Hundreds of workers and volunteers, as part of the teams implementing the UAE’s relief and humanitarian initiatives since the start of the war, have worked to provide healthcare, relief and food, and to provide livelihood and shelter.
The International Humanitarian Affairs Council was established by federal decree last January and is responsible for overseeing all issues and matters related to international humanitarian affairs.
