Dubai Police’s Department of Community Happiness excels in 2023 with 28 initiatives benefiting over 700,000 residents, supported by 32,000 volunteers contributing nearly 1 million hours.

Major General Abdulla Ali Al Ghaithi, Assistant Commandant for Operations Affairs at Dubai Police, oversaw these accomplishments during the department’s annual inspection.

Key achievements highlighted during the inspection include:

Community Initiatives: The department implemented 28 community initiatives throughout the year, directly benefiting a total of 708,800 individuals. These initiatives likely covered a wide range of areas such as education, health, social services, and community development.

Volunteer Opportunities: Over the past three years, the department has provided 1,353 volunteer opportunities. This initiative saw active participation from 32,151 volunteers who collectively contributed 918,725 hours of service. This demonstrates a strong commitment to community involvement and volunteerism, which plays a crucial role in fostering social cohesion and support.

These achievements underscore the department’s dedication to promoting community happiness, engagement, and responsibility. 

By actively involving volunteers and implementing impactful initiatives, the Dubai Police General Department of Community Happiness has made substantial strides in improving the quality of life and well-being for residents across Dubai.
