Sharjah hit sustainability milestone

Sharjah Taxi has announced a significant milestone with 83% of its fleet now comprised of hybrid and eco-friendly vehicles.

The vehicles that run on both fuel and electricity are part of their ambitious plan to achieve a fully eco-friendly fleet by 2027. 

This aligns with the UAE’s broader goals of sustainability and reducing carbon emissions.

Khalid Al-Kindi, General Manager of Sharjah Taxi, emphasised their commitment to sustainable development, stating that the continuous development and updating of their fleet support sustainable transportation solutions.
