Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, attended a reception hosted by Alfonso Ferdinand, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, marking the country’s National Day.
The event was held at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi and was attended by Abdul Aziz Al Neyadi, the Director of East Asia and Pacific Department, senior UAE officials, members of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions, and members of the Filipino community.
In his remarks on the occasion, Ambassador Ferdinand praised the wise policy of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the relations between both countries. He stressed his country’s keenness to further strengthen cooperation with the UAE across all fronts.
He also highlighted achievements made by the UAE in different sectors.
