UAE leaders have paid tribute to late eminent Emirati Saeed bin Ahmed Al Otaiba. He served as president of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1971 and held various government positions during his life.
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and President of the Presidential Court. offered their condolences via social media.

Also on the social media platform, Sheikh Mohammed paid tribute, saying: “May God have mercy on Saeed bin Ahmed Al Otaiba and place him in spacious gardens and inspire his family with patience and comfort. He participated in economic construction and establishment. in the country… and a living memory of the capital… and one of the first pioneers with the founder, may God grant his soul.”

He accompanied the late Sheikh Zayed and witnessed the stages of state building and contributed to its rebirth over the decades. . My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. Otaiba was elected president of the UAE Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, having also held several government positions and was a close confidant of the UAE’s founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
In 2022, Saeed bin Ahmed Al Otaiba Street, Abu Dhabi, was renamed in his honor.
