Citizens and residents are advised to be wary of unlicensed platforms that practice teaching the Holy Quran.
In a statement, the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat revealed that it had observed many unqualified people using promotional tactics to teach Quranic recitation to children.
The authority stressed the importance of adequate education to protect children and reminded parents not to fall for promotional tactics.
They added that only approved Quranic centers should be used for their children’s education.
