The President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, spoke with an Afghan delegation led by Sirajuddin Haqqani, Minister of Interior.
During the meeting, which took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen ties to serve mutual interests and contribute to regional stability.
The discussions focused on the areas of economy and development, as well as support for the reconstruction of Afghanistan.
The Afghan Interior Minister expressed his pleasure in meeting Sheikh Mohamed and praised the relations between the UAE and Afghanistan.
