The UAE Cabinet has approved a new housing program worth over AED1.68 billion for Emiratis.
The amount will cover a total of 2,160 applications under the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said the Cabinet also approved the ‘Manzili’ project aimed at streamlining and simplifying the loan assistance process real estate.
“Manzili” will offer a set of 18 housing services to citizens in collaboration with 24 federal and local government entities.
It will simplify the overall customer journey by reducing the number of entities involved from 11 to 1, required documents from 10 to 2, and procedures from 14 to 3, while reducing service areas from 32 to 5.
These decisions coincide with Eid Al Adha and aim to achieve social stability. They are also part of the UAE’s efforts to improve the living standards of citizens.
