No less than 686 prisoners have been pardoned in Dubai in the run-up to Eid Al Adha.
Their release was ordered by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.
Dubai Public Prosecution Service, in collaboration with Dubai Police, has initiated legal procedures to implement the directive.
